    Controls Specialist – Kennewick, WA – $80,000–$106,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle + Top Benefits

    About the Opportunity:

    This company is seeking an experienced Controls Specialist to join their team in Kennewick. This hands-on role focuses on commissioning, troubleshooting, and programming Building Automation Systems (BAS) across commercial facilities.     Position Details:

    • Title: Controls Specialist
    • Location: Kennewick, WA
    • Status: Full-Time
    • Travel: Local travel within the Kennewick area

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experienced Controls Specialist or similar role with strong technical and diagnostic skills
    • Proficient in BAS programming, including developing or modifying sequences
    • Solid understanding of commissioning steps and point-to-point testing
    • Familiarity with Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium systems preferred
    • Comfortable coordinating with field teams, engineers, and external partners
    • Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-first approach

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Configure, test, commission, and troubleshoot BAS in commercial facilities
    • Program, adjust, and update automation software based on project requirements
    • Support field installation teams during system startup and equipment termination
    • Provide tuning, verification, and performance testing to meet customer expectations
    • Work directly with owners, contractors, and end users to resolve issues and ensure system performance
    • Document sequences, system modifications, and deliverables to maintain project accuracy

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary: $80,000–$106,000
    • Bonus: Discretionary
