    Controls Service Technician – Charleston, SC

    We are searching for a skilled Controls Service Technician to join a respected Building Automation (BAS) contractor serving the Charleston, SC region. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with HVAC or electrical controls experience who wants to grow with a company known for high-quality service and strong customer relationships across the Carolinas.

    Position Details:

    • Title: Controls Service Technician
    • Location: Charleston, SC
    • Status: Full-Time | Field-Based Role

    Ideal Candidate:

    • High School Diploma required; technical degree or BS in an engineering discipline preferred
    • 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls or electrical control systems
    • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
    • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
    • Capable of working on lifts, ladders, and scaffolding; comfortable traveling throughout SC
    • Solid computer skills and ability to learn BAS software interfaces
    • Professional, reliable, and strong communication skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on BAS and HVAC systems
    • Diagnose, repair, or replace malfunctioning system components
    • Conduct system performance checks and identify operational issues
    • Monitor BAS systems remotely for alarms and performance trends
    • Assist with commissioning and startup of new installations
    • Coordinate part needs, repairs, and upgrades with internal teams
    • Train building operators and end users on system functionality
    • Recommend system improvements and service options to customers
    • Complete detailed service reports and submit work documentation

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
    • Overtime: Available and Eligible
