Controls Engineer

Join a global leader in the high-performance battery separators sector, where you'll spearhead the optimization of plant equipment, parts, and manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation and innovative improvements, focusing on key performance metrics such as uptime, MTBF, and preventive maintenance, particularly in areas like Electrical, Automation, Siemens Controllers, and Instrumentations.

You'll play a critical advisory role, providing solutions to complex issues in systems like E-Beam/LFE, Tension Control, and Mixing/Weighing systems. By designing and advancing plans for cutting-edge technology integration and continuous improvement efforts, you will enhance the plant's operational efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities include planning for updates in manufacturing technology, proposing continuous improvement initiatives, drafting CAPEX project plans, and mentoring maintenance teams. Your collaborative spirit will foster effective communication between IT and plant operations, ensuring a robust manufacturing network.

To thrive in this role, you'll hold a BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office systems. You have substantial experience with industrial automation in dynamic environments, adept in Siemens PLC programming, troubleshooting, and implementing lean and quality structured practices.

Your hands-on skills with ladder logic, P&ID diagrams, and a variety of controllers will be instrumental. Experience in extrusion or web handling is beneficial, along with strong networking skills in industrial protocols. The role demands occasional weekend work and on-call availability for emergencies, offering a challenging yet rewarding career path.
