Description

This Controls Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining electrical control systems.
  • Troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Supporting equipment commissioning, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Developing and modifying PLC programs and control logic.
  • Creating and maintaining electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Profile

A Successful Controls Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of electrical controls experience in an industrial environment.
  • Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
  • Advanced PLC programming experience from blank projects.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation, sensors, and control systems.
  • Experience with machine safety systems and electrical standards.
  • Proficiency creating electrical schematics using CAD software.
  • Experience with servo and stepper motion control systems.
