Controls EngineerThe Controls Engineer will serve as a technical resource for process control systems, automation infrastructure, and plant-wide engineering projects. This individual will work across multiple departments to identify opportunities for operational improvements, support troubleshooting activities, and ensure reliability of critical manufacturing equipment. The position offers a blend of hands-on technical work, project management responsibilities, and continuous improvement initiatives within a highly automated industrial environment.Lead and execute controls-related capital projects, including upgrades, expansions, and automation improvements.Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, networks, and process control systems to minimise downtime and maximise reliability.Develop, maintain, and update engineering documentation including P&IDs, control narratives, I/O drawings, and system specifications.Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify process improvements and optimise production performance.Support and maintain industrial control systems, process computers, and OT infrastructure in alignment with cybersecurity and IT standards.Drive change management initiatives while ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and operational procedures.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
