This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional seeking a highly visible role with broad responsibilities across automation, controls systems, industrial networking, and manufacturing technology.Job DescriptionDesign, program, implement, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA applications.Maintain and optimize operational technology (OT) networks and communication systems across manufacturing operations.Diagnose and resolve automation, networking, and machine control issues to maximize equipment uptime.Lead commissioning activities including hardware verification, safety validation, testing, and start-up support.Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot drives, motors, servo systems, and motion-control equipment.Own plant-wide data acquisition systems and support reporting, historian, and monitoring infrastructure.Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools to improve operational visibility and decision-making.Partner with IT and engineering teams to support networking requirements and OT/IT integration projects.Create and maintain electrical schematics, technical drawings, and systems documentation.Drive equipment upgrades, retrofits, modernization projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair support for manufacturing equipment and control systems.Coach and support maintenance and technical teams on complex automation and controls issues.Ensure documentation, corrective actions, and system updates are completed in accordance with company standards.Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety and compliance throughout plant operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
