Payrate: $48.00 - $50.00/hr.
Summary: The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing validation activities for the Modular Power Conversion System (MPCS) platform throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle. The engineer ensures system functionality, safety, performance, cybersecurity, and customer requirements are fully validated before product release. Collaboration with software, controls, electrical, product support, quality, and program management teams is essential to drive validation readiness, resolve issues, and support gateway milestones.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain MPCS system validation plans aligned with program gateway milestones.
Define validation scope, test strategies, and acceptance criteria for new features and system releases.
Coordinate laboratory, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), endurance, integration, and field validation activities.
Support validation of software releases, firmware updates, network communications, HMI functionality, and control algorithms.
Track validation progress and ensure timely completion of test activities.
Coordinate validation activities across software, controls, electrical, telematics, cybersecurity, product quality, and product support teams.
Communicate validation status, risks, issues, and recommendations to program leadership.
Mentor team members on validation methodologies, test execution, and system troubleshooting.
Support software integration, system troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.
Develop and validate features related to controls, communications, HMI functionality, and power system operation.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, software, quality, cybersecurity, and product support teams.
Drive issue resolutions and support product gateway milestones to ensure successful product launches.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Internships are accepted as job experience.
Electrical Background.
Experience with Vector Tools (Canape, Canalyzer).
Experience with Matlab/Simulink.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $48.00 - $50.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
