    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of control programs for electro-mechanical and electronic control refrigeration systems. In this mid-level position, you will work under minimal supervision, coordinating with other engineers and technicians to ensure the successful implementation and operation of our systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and design control programs based on project wiring diagrams and I/O for refrigeration systems.
    • Interpret hardware and instrumentation schematics and assist in writing operational sequences.
    • Collaborate with production teams to implement system changes and ensure specifications are met.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues alongside field technicians and customers.
    • Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product conformity with design specifications.
    • Engage with customers, contractors, and vendors to address warranty and technical support issues.
    • Prepare and present technical proposals and cost estimates.
    • Provide regular updates on project statuses and future initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • 3-5 years of experience in programming CPCs, PLCs, and HMIs with systems integration.
    • Proficiency in electrical panel layout, schematic design, and ladder logic programming.
    • Strong knowledge of refrigeration system circuit design, with field experience preferred.
    • Experience in customer interaction, sales, and quoting is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of natural refrigerants such as CO2 and Ammonia is desired.
    • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating across teams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Physical & Behavioral Requirements:

    • Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls regularly.
    • Capability to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
    • Occasionally required to perform physical activities such as reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
