    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager / Automation & I&C Project Manager to support the construction of a major advanced semiconductor manufacturing and R&D facility in West Lafayette, IN.

    This is an Owner’s Representative position responsible for managing automation, low-voltage, instrumentation and controls scopes from design coordination through construction, commissioning, startup, and turnover.

    Semiconductor experience is highly preferred. Candidates with strong BioPharma, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing, data center, or other mission-critical facility experience will also be considered.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Manage owner-side execution of automation, low-voltage, SCADA and I&C scopes.
    • Coordinate engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.
    • Work closely with general contractors, trade contractors, system integrators, vendors, commissioning teams, engineering, IT/OT, and facility operations.
    • Coordinate controls interfaces across process gas, chemical, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life safety and process equipment systems.
    • Review controls drawings, P&IDs, network diagrams, panel drawings, I/O lists, sequences of operation, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change requests.
    • Manage field installation of instrumentation, controllers, panels, network hardware, cabling, fiber, pathways, terminations, and field devices.
    • Track schedule, milestones, procurement, installation readiness, constraints, risks, change orders, punch lists, and commissioning deficiencies.
    • Support point-to-point testing, loop checks, calibration, FAT/SAT, functional testing, integrated systems testing and commissioning.
    • Coordinate PLC/SCADA integration, alarm management, historian interfaces, facility monitoring, and vendor equipment interfaces.
    • Support controls integration between facility systems and semiconductor/process equipment.
    • Provide QA/QC oversight and ensure contractor work meets owner requirements.
    • Drive issues through resolution while keeping multiple contractors, vendors, and stakeholders aligned.
    • Support final turnover documentation, as-builts, testing records, software backups, O&M manuals, training, and operational readiness.


    What We're Looking For

    • 10+ years of experience in project management, automation, controls, instrumentation, low voltage, commissioning, or facilities engineering.
    • Strong background in advanced facilities / high-tech construction.
    • Semiconductor construction experience is highly preferred; BioPharma and other cleanroom/mission-critical backgrounds are also relevant.
    • Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, I&C, BAS/FMS, controls networks, instrumentation, and low-voltage systems.
    • Experience with Life Safety Systems, process gas, chemical systems, or associated controls is highly desirable.
    • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical and controls drawings, network diagrams, I/O lists, cable schedules, and sequences of operation.
    • Experience managing contractors, vendors, system integrators, commissioning teams, and multidisciplinary construction stakeholders.
    • Telecommunications experience within advanced facilities/high-tech construction is a strong plus.
    • Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills.


    Preferred Experience

    Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

    Siemens | Rockwell / Allen-Bradley | Schneider Electric | Johnson Controls | Emerson | AVEVA / Wonderware | Ignition | PLC | SCADA | DCS | BAS | FMS | EMS | Historian Systems

    Additional experience with specialty gas, chemical distribution, HVAC/exhaust, gas detection, life safety, security/access control, fiber, telecommunications, or process equipment controls is a plus.


    Project Details

    This is a long-term, onsite opportunity supporting a major advanced semiconductor facility scheduled through October 2028.

    • Onsite Monday–Friday
    • Approximately 45–50 hours per week
