Key Responsibilities
Review invoices, accruals, prepaid expenses, tax estimates, and other accounting entries for accuracy and proper accounting treatment
Support annual budgeting and provide accounting and finance recommendations to leadership
Maintain and review accounting records for the bank’s investment portfolio, including securities activity, accruals, safekeeping, pledging, and bond accounting reports
Assist with regulatory reporting, audits, examinations, Call Report support, FRY reports, and Summary of Deposits reporting
Monitor daily liquidity, prepare cash position reporting, support funding and collateral processes, and serve as a backup for assigned accounting and financial reporting functions
Qualifications
Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
5+ years of related banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting-related software
