    Key Responsibilities


    Financial Strategy & Cash Flow Management

    • Direct and optimize the daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasting processes to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
    • Manage working capital, including monitoring accounts payable/receivable (A/R) aging, and implement strategies to reduce collection cycles.
    • Analyze cash positions to identify trends, mitigate financial risk, and support executive decision-making
    • Manage and oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

    Controllership & Reporting:

    • Oversee all general ledger activities, month-end close processes, and the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements.
    • Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions
    • Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, through internal financial reporting up to and including participate and validate reviewed year end statements.
    • Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax professionals.

    Operational Oversight:

    • Lead the daily accounting functions, including AP/AR oversight, payroll processing, reporting and compliance and expense management.
    • Develop and implement standardized financial procedures to improve departmental efficiency and data accuracy.
    • Provide variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budgets/forecasts

    Leadership

    • Act as a key member of the management team, providing financial insights that influence business strategy.
    • Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability and precision.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, (MBA or CPA preferred)
    • Proven experience in financial management and accounting controls 5-10 years, with 3 years controller or similar role
    • Cash flow expertise -proven track record in managing complex cash flow models and treasury functions for a mid-sized organization
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment

    Skills:

    • Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems and Excel (financial modeling).
    • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business intelligence.
    • Clear and professional communication skills,capable of interacting with vendors, stakeholders, and internal departments to resolve disputes or manage expectations
