Controller

System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for a Controller. The successful candidate will work with a collaborative leadership team and colleagues who excel in their areas of expertise. This is a direct-hire opportunity with an on-site work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities and ensure accurate consolidated financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Lead the monthly/quarterly/year-end close process and drive timely, accurate deliverables
• Manage and develop the accounting team, setting expectations and supporting performance and growth
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and support external audit activities
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis, forecasting support, and process improvement initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience preferably with a mix of public accounting experience coupled with corporate accounting experience
• Proven people-leadership experience (managing/mentoring accounting staff)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and advanced Excel; ERP/accounting system experience preferred
• Great attitude with a strong work ethic

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
