    • Work for a supportive and approachable manager who is invested in your development and will provide hands-on training.

    • Excellent benefits package, including paid parking and your own office.

    • Convenient location with great restaurants and amenities nearby.

    • A professional yet easy-going, collegial culture with very little corporate bureaucracy.

    Responsibilities

    • Direct and oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions.

    • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

    • Prepare and review accurate financial statements and management reports.

    • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliations.

    • Oversee accounting related to real estate investments, properties, and operating entities.

    • Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors and other outside professionals.

    • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

    • Provide financial analysis and insight to senior leadership and ownership to support business decisions.

    • Prepare financial reports and presentations for ownership and leadership.

    • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting.

    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to accounting staff.

    • Participate in acquisitions, development projects, financing activities, and other strategic initiatives as needed.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.

    • Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience preferred.

    • Real estate accounting experience is highly desirable.

    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
