This is an onsite role (5 days/week) for a strong technical accountant who can drive a clean close process, improve financial reporting cadence, and partner cross-functionally with operations. We’re partnering with an established manufacturing company in the Santa Fe Springs, CA area to identify an Interim Controller to provide hands-on accounting leadership and stabilize reporting.

Description 
We’re partnering with an established manufacturing company in the Santa Fe Springs, CA area to identify an Interim Controller to provide hands-on accounting leadership and stabilize reporting.

This is an onsite role (5 days/week) for a strong technical accountant who can drive a clean close process, improve financial reporting cadence, and partner cross-functionally with operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and improve timeliness/accuracy of financial reporting
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen accounting discipline/controls
• Partner with external CPA/support teams as needed
• Support ERP-based reporting and process improvements (Acumatica experience a plus)
• Provide practical, hands-on leadership in an operations-heavy environment

Qualifications

• Controller / senior accounting leadership experience in manufacturing (inventory/COGS exposure strongly preferred)
• Strong fundamentals: reconciliations, accruals, GL oversight, close leadership
• ERP fluency (Acumatica preferred, not required)
• Able to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs full-time
