Description
Kforce's client, a growing, private equity-backed organization in Saginaw, MI, is seeking a hands-on Controller to play a key role in its next phase of growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company with an active acquisition strategy and significant long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key finance leader and business partner within a dynamic organization
- Lead financial reporting, consolidations, and month-end close activities
- Oversee treasury functions, cash management, and forecasting
- Manage and develop AR/AP processes and support staff
- Drive process improvements and standardization across multiple business units
- Support acquisitions, integrations, and ongoing growth initiatives
- Partner on ERP implementation, conversion, and optimization projects

- Broad exposure to acquisitions, integrations, and operational finance
Requirements:
- Previous Controller experience within manufacturing, distribution, or a multi-site operating environment
- Strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with cash flow management, treasury, and forecasting
- Exposure to ERP implementations, migrations, or system integrations
- M&A or acquisition integration experience is beneficial but not required
- Must be willing to be onsite in Saginaw at least two days a week
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
