Controller - Residential Real Estate - Greater Boston - Hybrid 

A well-established real estate firm is seeking a Controller to lead a high-performing accounting team and oversee financial operations across a multi-entity property portfolio. This role reports directly to executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain a strong internal control environment
• Lead accounting operations, including cash management, disbursements, ACH/wire controls, and trust/escrow compliance
• Drive accounting systems and process improvement initiatives
• Mentor and develop an established accounting team
• Partner with leadership on financial transparency and operational performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting plus 10+ years of accounting experience with at least 5 years in a leadership position 
• Real estate or multifamily property accounting experience required
• CPA strongly preferred
• Yardi experience highly preferred
