Key Responsibilities
- Own daily cash management, banking relationships, bank reconciliations, and payables across domestic and international accounts
- Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and inventory costing in Sage
- Supervise payroll processing and oversee compliance with payroll tax regulations
- Oversee 5 direct reports and multiple indirect reports; monitor the POS/ordering system and support on-time shipping and fulfillment
- Oversee OSHA compliance, annual audit, tax filings, and HR/insurance renewal processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Progressive accounting experience, including supervisory/team leadership
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and advanced Excel; experience with ERP and POS platforms a plus
