Job Details

Responsibilities

Manage monthly close activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger transactions, and account reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Maintain balance sheet accuracy and support internal accounting controls.
Support manufacturing cost accounting and inventory-related accounting activities.
Analyze financial information, investigate discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
Oversee payroll-related accounting and collaborate with HR as needed.
Work with internal teams to improve financial reporting, data accuracy, and accounting processes.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as responsibilities expand.
Partner with leadership on accounting and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Manufacturing industry experience required.
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting.
Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to explain financial information clearly and work effectively across departments.
Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Interest in professional growth and expanded leadership responsibilities.
Candidates with Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller experience are encouraged to apply.
