Job Description:

CONTROLLER for the City of Ketchikan, Finance Department. Regular, full-time; Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with evening and weekends. $8,626.71 - $12,149.68 DOQ, plus benefits. Responsible for maintaining the quality of financial accounting and reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Graduate of an accredited university with a degree in accounting or a closely related field, five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and budgeting, and 3 years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. Working knowledge of the following; financial reporting, general ledger accounting, payroll, accounts payable, grants accounting and treasury and customer service functions.
