    Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Controller to join their Accounting team.

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the financial operations of our high-volume, fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills to manage accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial planning in a high-transaction environment. This role plays a key part in driving financial transparency, scalability, and efficiency as the business grows.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Bank Reconciliations
    • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
    • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information in a high-transaction setting
    • Monitor daily transaction volumes, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and forecasts for leadership and stakeholders
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, procurement, and IT to ensure financial alignment with business objectives
    • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
    • Manage external audits, tax filings, and relationships with financial institutions
    • Implement and optimize financial systems and tools to handle large volumes of data and transactions
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning efforts


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
    • 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting role
    • Experience in a high-volume transactional environment (e.g., retail, logistics, e-commerce, hospitality, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
    • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, SAP, or similar)
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment



    Preferred Attributes:

    • Experience in multi-unit or multi-location businesses
    • Background in systems implementation or financial process automation
    • Track record of improving financial operations and streamlining reporting
