Controller
Location: Fort Worth, TX (on-site)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for a growing manufacturing organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, managing month-end close processes, and supporting business leaders with financial insights that drive operational performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing accounting background, hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with operations and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
  • Optimize accounting processes and leverage NetSuite to improve reporting and operational efficiencies.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • CPA or CMA designation is preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience
  • Manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Inventory accounting and standard costing.
  • ERP implementation, optimization, or system enhancements.
  • Process improvement and automation initiatives.
