Overview
We are seeking a Controller to lead core accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support ongoing business initiatives. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions while contributing to process improvements and financial visibility across the organization.
This position offers direct exposure to leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of the accounting function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily treasury, cash processing, and cash reporting activities
- Oversee preparation and entry of general journal entries
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and amortization
- Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including bank and credit card accounts
- Support accurate and timely month-end close processes
- Assist in monthly financial statement preparation, including variance analysis
- Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Manage sales tax processing, compliance, and filings
- Oversee refund-related accounting activities
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, or logistics environments is a plus

Must Have/Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7–10+ years of Accounting experience
- Comfortable working onsite
Preferred:
