Controller - Construction

A growing commercial general contractor in the DFW area is hiring a Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting. You'll partner with ownership and operations to keep job costs, cash flow and reporting accurate and on time.

What You'll Do

• Manage monthly close, financial statements and job cost reporting
• Oversee WIP schedules, revenue recognition and project billing
• Lead AP, AR, payroll and the accounting team
• Manage audits, insurance, bonding and lender reporting
• Improve accounting processes and systems

What You Bring

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with construction industry experience required
• Strong knowledge of WIP, percentage of completion and job costing
• Experience with construction accounting software (Viewpoint, Sage or similar)
• CPA preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
