Controller

System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close; prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

System One is assisting a Tulsa area company with a search for a Controller. The successful candidate will work with others who excel in their areas of expertise in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This is a direct-hire, onsite position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close; prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis, including budget support, forecasting, and variance reporting to leadership
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements across accounting workflows
• Manage cash flow planning and coordinate key reporting with external partners as needed (e.g., lenders, auditors)
• Provide leadership to a small accounting team, including coaching, prioritization, and performance management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including prior leadership responsibility
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience owning close/reporting processes and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
• CPA and/or MBA preferred

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
