Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries.     A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and help drive strategic business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys partnering with executive leadership, improving financial processes, and making a meaningful impact in a growing organization.

    The Controller will lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities while ensuring the integrity of the company's financial operations. This role combines day-to-day accounting leadership with strategic financial planning to support operational excellence and long-term growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
    • Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions
    • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
    • Manage cash flow and support long-term financial planning initiatives
    • Coordinate external audits and oversee tax and regulatory reporting
    • Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
    • Lead and develop the accounting team while driving continuous process improvements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
    • Master's degree, CPA, CMA, or similar professional designation preferred
    • 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
    • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
    • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
