Job Title: Control Systems Specialist
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $37-$74
Employment Type: 12 month contract to hire

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Control Systems Specialist for advanced research and development facilities which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in electrical control system design, programming, and troubleshooting looking to further their career in industrial controls and automation.
- Design and develop electrical control panel schematics and layouts; build, wire, and test control panels from specifications
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot LabVIEW-based control and data acquisition systems for laboratory and test facilities
- Integrate instrumentation, sensors, heaters, control valves, VFDs, motors, and field devices into control systems
- Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in an R&D environment
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree, technical certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical controls, automation, instrumentation, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining industrial control systems, instrumentation systems, or laboratory test equipment
- Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW, electrical panel design and construction, instrumentation integration, and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control system drawings
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software for electrical schematics and control system drawings
- PLC and HMI programming, configuration, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, or Profinet
- Qualified Electrical Worker certification or Journeyman Electrician background
- Experience commissioning first-of-a-kind equipment or advanced R&D test systems
