Description
Location: Coos County Jail Reports To: Shift Sergeant or Watch Commander
Summary: Responsible for monitoring and controlling inmate, staff, and visitor movement within the corrections facility. Operates security systems and provides administrative and technical support to corrections staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate control systems for cameras, monitors, electronic doors, elevators, and communication equipment.
Monitor facility for safety and security using electronic visual devices.
Screen and route visitors; process inmate correspondence.
Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation.
Perform general office tasks including typing, filing, and data entry.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Typing and computer skills preferred.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow complex directives.
Conditions of Employment:

Must obtain and maintain CJIS certification.
Schedule: Part-time; hours and schedule will vary based on business needs.
