    Lead Control Panel Technician – Direct Hire | Onsite in Canonsburg, PA

    Oxford Solutions is seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician for a direct hire, onsite position in Canonsburg, PA.

    In this role, you will assemble and wire control panels according to detailed electrical schematics and specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on wiring experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide leadership and mentorship within a small team environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assemble, wire, and test control panels in accordance with electrical schematics and design documentation.
    • Install and wire PLCs, HMIs, relays, switches, and other electrical components.
    • Perform quality checks and ensure panels meet safety and performance standards.
    • Troubleshoot wiring and component issues during and after assembly.
    • Maintain organization of tools, parts, and documentation throughout the build process.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in electrical systems preferred.
    • 2 to 5+ years of experience in control panel wiring, assembly, or related electrical work
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
    • Strong working knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and safety procedures.
    • Familiarity with PLC and HMI installation and wiring.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
