Phillips Staffing is looking for a skilled Control Equipment Technician (CET) to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate!
Job Summary: Troubleshoot the weaving machines, have knowledge concerning the operation of fans, motors, and pumps, the ability to perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on auxiliary equipment, needs an understanding of electrical circuit boards and integrate circuits.
Responsibilities: - Knowledge of support operator policies and procedures
- Completing daily team maintenance (DTM) activities
- Auditing safety items in department
- Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & safety absolutes.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Meet production goals set-out by department manager
- Follow proper policies and procedures set out by department and location
- Provide timely response to safety concerns and equipment failures
- Maintain working condition and perform minor repairs on wide range of facilities and auxiliary equipment
Requirements: - Thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including PC hardware components, desktop operation system software and application software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve opportunities.Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and be capable of using motorized equipment (fork trucks, tuggers, etc.)
- Willingness to complete all maintenance or repair work required to maintain facilities.
- Must be self-driven.
