Contracts Technician, SR-17

Within the Central Purchasing Agency, independently performs the full range of sub-professional contract activities for all County departments; processes grant awards from the County of Maui to various outside agencies; reviews, drafts, and examines procurement documentation; advises departments and vendors of documents and requirements to execute and fulfill contracts; and performs other related duties as required. Distinguishing Characteristics : This class is distinguished by its responsibility to perform technical contract and grant management activities for all County of Maui departments, agencies, and programs.

IMPORTANT: HIRING RATES WILL BE BASED ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, THE APPLICANT'S QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER RELEVANT FACTORS.
Appointment may be made at any rate within the salary range from SR-17C ($4,563) to SR-17E ($4,933) per month.
