    You Bring

    • Associate's degree or at least 2+ years of college coursework (English, communications, or related field preferred)
    • 2+ years of relevant professional experience (preferably in legal, HR, healthcare, or contracting environments)
    • Experience working with contracts, documentation, or structured workflows
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with database or contract management systems
    • Working knowledge of cross-functional areas such as HR, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Provider Compensation, or Recruiting (preferred)
    • Ability to learn and apply processes consistently and accurately
    • The Contracts Specialist plays a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of provider contracts between healthcare providers and TeamHealth-affiliated entities. In this role, you'll partner closely with recruiting, legal, compensation, and operational teams to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and efficiently processed-supporting a seamless experience for providers and internal stakeholders alike.

    Join us through a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position within 90 days based on individual performance and organizational needs.

    Schedule: Part-time, 27 hours per week (Monday-Friday), consisting of three 5-hour days and two 6-hour days.

    What You'll Do

    • Own and manage the end-to-end contracting workflow for healthcare providers
    • Ensure contract accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to support provider onboarding and contract changes
    • Maintain high-quality contract data and documentation

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review and verify contract requests (new, edits, terminations) for accuracy and consistency with approved compensation, policies, and existing agreements
    • Enter and manage contract requests in the contracting system following data governance standards
    • Draft, review, and prepare provider contracts, amendments, and related documents
    • Perform quality assurance reviews on contract drafts as needed
    • Coordinate approvals for nonstandard contract terms
    • Send contracts for signature and track completion using electronic signature tools; follow up on outstanding documents
    • Finalize and commit contract records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
    • Partner with recruiting, leadership, provider compensation, finance, and other stakeholders to resolve questions and align on contract details
    • Support special projects such as compensation changes, facility startups/closures, and policy-driven initiatives
    • Maintain and update contract templates and standard language
    • Respond to inquiries regarding contract records and documentation
    • Provide team support during peak workloads, projects, or absences
