Description

The Homeland Sector within Leidos is seeking a Contract Manager to support our Airports, Borders & Security Business Area. The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse and dynamic portfolio of contracts potentially supporting NATO and DHS agencies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Candidate must be pro-active, forward leaning, timely, able to prioritize work activities and effectively and clearly communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • The candidate should have significant experience providing contract management and negotiation support for Government contracts, including RFP analysis, hands-on proposal development and review, development of terms and conditions, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, obtaining various bonds, certs, strategic contract negotiation, and contract/task order management. Experience managing International contracts a plus.
  • Candidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role will frequently interact (written, oral, and face-to-face) with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers.
  • Participate in the review and analysis of RFPs to identify and mitigate contract risks.
  • Review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and OCI Mitigation Plans.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with Commercial, State & Local contracting and Government contracting.
  • Experienced with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts.
  • Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems.
  • Must have the ability to make sound business decisions, handle multiple contractual activities with potential short turn-around time, and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills to include well developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • The candidate must possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with Leidos policy and procedures.
  • The Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Prior experience supporting internation work is a plus

Prior experience managing commercial contracts a plus

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
