Job Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the legal department and staff attorneys related to all corporate legal matters. Areas of responsibility include evaluating legal/contractual documents for compliance with terms and conditions, legal correspondence with Loomis customers, legal evaluations, litigation, and monitoring sensitive risk/financial-related data for trending. This position reports to the VP Legal Services.
Job responsibilities:
Support Loomis attorneys in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting i) service agreements; ii) vendor agreements; iii) real estate agreements; and iv) other cash management agreements. Responsible for ensuring contract terms and conditions meet the company's contracting requirements
Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, landlords, and others, along with external counsel
Routing legal notices and correspondence to the appropriate internal departments
Limited contract review, revision, and redlining (depending on experience)
Performing document and contract management
Processing contract amendments
Litigation support
Supporting negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements
Responding to various legal requests from sales teams
Support research regarding legal contracting and contract management tools
Responding to internal requests for contractual templates
Assist with contract dispute tracking and analysis
Compliance
Supporting review and processing of legal invoices
Supporting with departmental project audits
Auditing petty cash (receipting process)
Licensing issues
Other duties as assigned.
