    Description

    Select Source Solutions is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of Federal and Commercial prime contracts and subcontracts in a remote work environment.

    In this role, you will support contracts from pre-award and proposal development through negotiation, administration, compliance, modification, and closeout. You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and a primary contractual point of contact for customers and subcontractors.

You will help Select Source Solutions meet its contractual obligations, mitigate risk, support business objectives, and maintain readiness for government and customer audits.

    What You Will Do

    Contract Lifecycle Management

    • Manage a portfolio of Federal and Commercial prime contracts and subcontracts from pre-award through final closeout.
    • Interpret and administer contract terms, conditions, statements of work, and other contractual requirements.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for contractual matters involving customers, subcontractors, program teams, and internal stakeholders.
    • Monitor contract performance, funding, periods of performance, milestones, deliverables, and other contractual obligations.
    • Process and administer contract modifications, including changes to funding, scope, schedules, and other terms.
    • Maintain complete and accurate contract files in accordance with Select Source Solutions policies, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
    • Lead contract closeout activities and ensure contractual, financial, administrative, and compliance obligations are satisfied.

    Proposal & Pre-Award Support

    • Review RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other solicitations to identify contractual requirements, risks, and compliance obligations.
    • Support proposal development by ensuring submissions comply with solicitation instructions, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
    • Identify contractual and business risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements, and other pre-award contractual documents.

    Contract Negotiation & Execution

    • Lead or support negotiations involving prime contracts, subcontracts, agreements, and modifications.
    • Develop negotiation positions and strategies in coordination with legal, finance, program management, business development, and executive stakeholders.
    • Exercise delegated authority to review, negotiate, and execute contracts and subcontracts within established company policies, approval thresholds, and authorization frameworks.
    • Evaluate proposed contractual language and recommend solutions that appropriately balance business objectives, compliance requirements, and risk.

    Federal Contracting & Compliance

    • Interpret and apply applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), agency supplements, and government contracting requirements.
    • Identify contractual and regulatory risks and provide recommendations to management.
    • Support internal and external audits and reviews, including activities involving the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
    • Help maintain contract administration practices that support regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

    Cybersecurity & CMMC Contract Requirements

    • Support contractual compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements and related Department of Defense cybersecurity obligations.
    • Review contracts and subcontracts for applicable cybersecurity clauses and requirements.
    • Ensure required cybersecurity and regulatory clauses are appropriately incorporated and flowed down to subcontractors.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align contractual obligations with applicable cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST SP 800-171.
    • Assist stakeholders in understanding contractual cybersecurity requirements and their impact on program and subcontract performance.

    Subcontract Administration

    • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer subcontracts supporting Federal and Commercial programs.
    • Ensure required prime contract terms, FAR/DFARS clauses, cybersecurity requirements, and other applicable obligations are appropriately flowed down to subcontractors.
    • Manage subcontractor communications, contractual modifications, documentation, compliance matters, and performance-related issues.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address subcontract risks and contractual requirements throughout the subcontract lifecycle.

    Systems & Documentation

    • Manage contractual documentation within SharePoint, including document libraries, file organization, document management, and version control.
    • Work with government and prime contractor electronic systems supporting activities such as representations and certifications, invoicing, modifications, and contract administration.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance, operational efficiency, and audit readiness.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    What You Will Bring

    You bring demonstrated Federal contracting experience and the ability to independently manage complex contracts and subcontracts throughout their lifecycle. You understand government contracting regulations and know how to translate contractual requirements into practical actions for business and program teams.

    You are comfortable exercising delegated contracting authority, negotiating contractual terms, identifying risk, and providing well-reasoned recommendations. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, accountable, and able to communicate clearly with customers, subcontractors, government representatives, and colleagues across multiple functions.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, or a related field.
    • 5–8 years of contract management experience, including significant Federal contracting experience.
    • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Federal government contracting principles.
    • Experience managing both prime contracts and subcontracts.
    • Demonstrated experience executing contracts and subcontracts under delegated authority, including prior contract signature authority, in accordance with company policies and approval frameworks.
    • Working knowledge of CMMC requirements and compliance processes supporting Department of Defense contracts.
    • Strong contract negotiation and risk-analysis skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage priorities, deadlines, contractual documentation, and stakeholder relationships in a remote work environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Professional contracts certification such as NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM).
    • Recent experience supporting contracts with Federal government agencies.
    • Recent experience using government electronic invoicing platforms such as IPP, WAWF, or comparable systems.
    • Recent experience working within prime contractor electronic systems used for subcontractor representations and certifications, invoicing, contract modifications, and related contract administration activities.
    • Experience supporting DCAA and/or DCMA audits.
    • Working knowledge of SharePoint, including document libraries, document management, organization, and version control.
