Contracts Coordinator - Contract
Position Overview
This position will play a key role in supporting the lifecycle of professional services and vendor agreements. Responsibilities include contract development, procurement coordination, document management, stakeholder communication, compliance tracking, and monitoring project milestones. The individual in this role will work across multiple departments and serve as a central point of contact for contractual and procurement-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the preparation, review, processing, and administration of service and vendor agreements
Track contract timelines, deliverables, renewals, and procurement milestones
Support competitive solicitation activities, including requests for information, proposals, and bid processes
Conduct market research and gather supporting documentation for procurement initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop contract scopes, requirements, and specifications
Ensure agreements comply with applicable regulations, organizational policies, and procurement guidelines
Assist with contract evaluations, award recommendations, and implementation activities
Review invoices and supporting documentation for contract-related expenditures
Maintain accurate contract files, reports, correspondence, and compliance records
Monitor vendor performance and help identify potential contract risks or operational concerns
Participate in cross-functional meetings related to procurement and contract administration
Prepare reports and documentation required for management and regulatory review
Respond to contract-related information requests and maintain organized records
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in contract administration, procurement, purchasing, acquisitions, or a related field
Additional administrative, clerical, or business support experience
Strong organizational and project coordination abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
Experience working with detailed documentation and records management
Preferred
Experience supporting public sector, healthcare, or regulated industry contracts
Procurement or purchasing certification
Background reviewing or drafting contractual documents
Experience coordinating professional services agreements
Knowledge of vendor management or procurement best practices
Bachelor's degree or advanced education in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies, or a related discipline
Exposure to technology-related procurements or projects
Work Environment
Full-time, onsite position
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
40-hour workweek
