This role serves as a key partner to the Legal Department, providing critical support to staff attorneys across all corporate legal matters. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting legal and contractual documents for compliance, managing legal correspondence with customers, conducting legal evaluations, supporting litigation activities, and tracking sensitive risk and financial data to identify trends. This position reports directly to the VP of Legal Services and plays a vital role in safeguarding the organization's legal and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, negotiate, and draft service agreements, vendor contracts, real estate agreements, and other cash management documents
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company standards and requirements
  • Interact frequently with internal teams, customers, vendors, landlords, and external counsel
  • Manage contract lifecycle including amendments, routing of legal notices, and document management
  • Provide litigation support and assist with contract dispute tracking
  • Support NDA negotiations and respond to legal requests from sales teams
  • Handle compliance tasks including invoice processing, audits, petty cash, and licensing

Requirements:

  • College degree + minimum 5 years of paralegal or contracts manager experience
  • Strong background in corporate legal work, including contract negotiation and real estate
  • Experience in transportation or financial services is a plus
  • Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills
