About the role

Perform all duties in accordance with our mission to provide the finest quality and most unique innovative products, while ensuring high overall consumer satisfaction. Employees are expected to demonstrate consistent attendance, a high level of safety, quality consciousness, an attitude of continuous improvement, attention to the cleanliness of the shop and buildings and the ability to work as a team in your department and company-wide.

To verify materials received are correct and damage free as well as keeping materials organized to elevate accuracy and smooth flow of Kanban system. Works well with different levels of management and plant supervisors as well as employees.

What you will be doing

• Inspect all incoming material to ensure it is correct, defect and damage free
• Report all damaged or defective materials to Quality Manager
• Enter all receipts into ERP system
• Load and unload all materials
• Keep materials well organized
• Monitor stock levels and re-order via Kanban cards as needed
• Maintain excellent communication with other department members
• Record entry of Kanban activity into ERP system
• Pick up raw parts and restock raw parts shelving
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Some lifting required of up to 50 pounds
• Report on consumption activity levels
• Deliver and pick up materials sent to be anodized
• Operate hand trucks, forklifts and electric cart as needed
• Consistently work on process improvement
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Implement Kanban systems where needed
• Other duties as assigned

About you

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Three years related experience preferred

Skills/Abilities: Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with personnel in all departments. Computer literacy and excellent organizational skills are necessary.
