About the Role:
Housing Advocacy Vocational and Employment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team in Gaithersburg, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals by applying evidence-based behavioral strategies in a supportive and mission-driven environment.



Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct ABA therapy and oversee implementation of behavior analytic programming
  • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior technician staff
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent program implementation
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with BACB ethics and standards
  • Provide training and parent/caregiver coaching to support generalization of skills across settings
Requirements:
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing and implementing BIPs
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, verbal behavior, and evidence-based practices
  • Experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Compassionate, client-centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice
