AmeriLife is in the midst of an exciting and significant transformation of its operational infrastructure to better serve the evolving needs of its stakeholders across the country. As such, we’re looking for a Licensing Specialist to help us continue pushing our ambitious roadmap forward.

The Licensing Specialist is a key contributor to the success of the licensing and contracting area and the business they support throughout the organization. This person must be well organized, able to work with various insurance carrier representatives as well as partner with internal operations and key stakeholders simultaneously.

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Process contracts for licensed insurance professionals
  • Conduct agent or marketer outreach to resolve licensing and contracting open issues
  • Monitor exception reports, research solutions and address exceptions as needed
  • Ensure commission and hierarchy levels match contracts for agents, agencies, and carriers
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure agency and affiliate satisfaction
  • Integrate new agency and affiliate partners through onboarding intake calls, required paperwork processing, and associated processes
  • Assist with direct agent onboarding
  • Perform duties within required service level agreement terms and performance requirements including timeliness, productivity and quality
  • Utilize established performance management systems and processes
  • Solve Salesforce cases as assigned
  • Actively participate in team planning and process improvement activities
  • Engage Carriers and External Partners to efficiently resolve licensing issues
  • Fulfil Agent Release Requests as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
  • Highly skilled in attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Positive approach to taking initiative and creative problem solving
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite or similar (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Financial Services industry experienced preferred
