Contracting Specialist - Administrative Assistant to become an integral part of our team! In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our agents, ensuring their contracting experience is smooth and efficient. You’ll handle phone calls, emails, and paperwork, all while maintaining strong relationships with our agents and carriers. Key Responsibilities:
- Be the Voice of the Company: Manage inbound and outbound calls from agents, delivering exceptional customer service through attentive listening and effective communication during the contracting process.
- Organize & Process: Handle incoming paperwork, create copies, file documents, and manage electronic records with precision.
- Contracting Expertise: Serve as the go-to resource for all matters related to carrier contracting and certifications, ensuring agents have the support they need.
- Agent Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for agents, guiding them through the contracting process with confidence and ease.
- Customer Service Excellence: Apply best practices to address agent inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently via email, phone, and Zoom.
- Embody Our Core Values: Uphold and integrate Independence Marketing Group’s core values and mission in every task and decision.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work independently while also being an effective team player, adapting to new technologies and workflows with ease.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual Advantage: Fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse agent base.
- Customer Success Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer success, account management, or operations is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe software, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and communications.
- Independent & Team-Oriented: Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Bonus Experience: 1-2 years of experience working with Medicare is a plus but not required.
