Cameo Consulting Group, LLC a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking multiple qualified and available Contract Specialist to support a prospective Federal client on-site in Washington, D.C. The position is full-time, long-term, and available now.

TASKS AND DUTIES:
  • Provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, program management, thought leadership, and education to the client and/or project team based on specialized deep experience in acquisition management, including acquisition in a federal environment.

  • Support related to agency-level strategy, risk management, or agency business operations.
  • Executes cradle to grave procurement actions and provides feedback to junior, mid, and senior-level employees regarding quality for their respective assignments.
  • Perform data quality control and assurance, data reconciliation, forecasts and projections. Back up files as required.
  • Coordinate with vendors to achieve pricing goals and develop alternative solutions.
  • Recommend category management strategies, engage with stakeholders, and develop communication strategies.
  • Gather, compile, analyze and document spend/demand data analysis to support conclusions.
  • Support related to agency-level strategy, risk management, or agency business operations. Executes cradle to grave procurement actions and provides feedback to junior, mid, and senior-level employees regarding quality for their respective assignments.
  • Performs Pre-Award and Post-Award Activities such as: analyzing requirements, market research, recommending revisions to statements of work/specifications, determining the appropriate type of contract, establishing milestones, procurement planning, developing solicitations, documenting contract actions including negotiation memoranda, Determination and Findings, and Justifications and Approvals, conducting post-award activities, coordinating with contractors to ensure full understanding of terms, handling modifications, and resolution of issues related to non-compliance.
  • Perform the procurement of highly specialized equipment, components and systems, and complex contract actions for a diverse set of Department missions including information technology, professional or technical services, and/or a variety of supplies.
  • Knowledgeable of Office of Management and Budget initiatives on category management and methods to streamline Agency acquisition processes while reducing administrative duplication and leveraging buying power.
  • Knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Small Business Socio-Economic statutes and specialized contracting methodologies including Strategic Sourcing initiatives and the use of Delivery Order / Task Order contracting.
  • Develop, implement and analyze data requirements for planning and measurement systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DAWIA or FAC-C Level II in contracting (Not Required)
  • BA/BS Degree
  • At least four years of federal contracting experiences and competencies to perform Pre-Award and Post-Award Activities.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office and similar suites of acquisition business applications including Comprizon Suite, Momentum and PRISM.
