Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The specific duties for this position will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Experience and knowledge of construction contracts.
- Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Review and reconciliation of accounting transactions.
- Review and approve accounts payable transactions per the contract requirements.
- Prepare and review reports and invoices.
- Apply appropriate accounting practices.
- Understand the fundamentals of budgets and expenditures.
- Demonstrate computer knowledge, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Use Adobe applications as required.
- Organize and prioritize work assignments effectively.
Required Skills
- Experience and knowledge of construction contracts.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience reviewing and approving payment reports and invoices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Understanding of the fundamentals of budgets and expenditures.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
