    Description

    Black Bear Talent is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support hiring efforts for our client. This role is ideal for a recruiter with experience supporting manufacturing, skilled trades, operations in a high volume environment. This is a temporary assignment with an undetermined time frame. Assignment will be based on business demands.


    Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. This position will sit on-site daily.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage full cycle recruiting for hourly and skilled positions across manufacturing, operations, and related environments
    • Source, screen, and qualify candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels
    • Conduct phone screens and evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and fit for open roles
    • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication between candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for high volume and difficult to fill positions
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely follow up and communication
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and staffing timelines
    • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Support hiring events, workforce initiatives, and other recruiting activities as needed
    • Move candidates efficiently through the recruiting process while maintaining quality and attention to detail

    Qualifications

    • Previous recruiting experience supporting manufacturing, skilled trades, operations, or high volume hourly hiring environments required
    • Proven ability to manage multiple openings in a fast paced setting with changing priorities
    • Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms
    • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
    • Associates degree or relevant work experience required.
