Contract Recruiter

This position will support technical recruiting efforts within the intelligence and government contracting space, with a primary focus on highly skilled technical talent in the Virginia market. Experience sourcing technical professionals such as Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, or similar technical talent.

Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a leading technology organization to identify a Contract Recruiter to join their recruiting team. This position will support technical recruiting efforts within the intelligence and government contracting space, with a primary focus on highly skilled technical talent in the Virginia market.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on recruiter with strong technical recruiting experience who thrives in a high-volume, agency-style environment. Experience supporting the Virginia intelligence-community market is required.

Responsibilities:

• Source and identify qualified technical candidates for open positions
• Partner closely with recruiting leadership and hiring teams to understand position requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
• Focus primarily on sourcing candidates for Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, and other technical positions.
• Utilize LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods to identify active and passive candidates.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement to build qualified talent pipelines.
• Review candidate backgrounds and assess technical experience against position requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong pipelines of technical talent for current and future hiring needs.
• Support recruiters and hiring teams throughout the recruiting process by providing qualified candidate leads.
• Manage multiple sourcing priorities and requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Support contingent/subcontract recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates who may participate in multiple interview stages.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and sourcing activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Collaborate with recruiting leadership and other recruiters to share market insights, sourcing strategies, and candidate leads.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• 3+ years of technical recruiting or technical sourcing experience.
• Required experience supporting the Virginia intelligence-community customer environment.
• Experience sourcing technical professionals such as Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Engineers, or similar technical talent.
• Strong understanding of technical terminology, engineering skill sets, and the broader technology landscape.
• Experience sourcing within government contracting, the intelligence community, or a similarly specialized technical environment.
• Experience supporting contingent/subcontract recruiting is strongly preferred.
• Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search skills.
• Ability to identify and engage hard-to-find technical talent.
• Strong communication and candidate engagement skills.
• Highly proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing priorities in a high-volume environment.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $56.25 to $59.38
