    Direct Patient Care:
    • Implementing Treatment Plans:
      PTAs carry out exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other therapeutic interventions as directed by the physical therapist. 
    • Assisting with Gait Training and Ambulation:
      PTAs help patients learn to walk again, using walkers, canes, or other assistive devices as needed. 
    • Applying Physical Agents:
      PTAs may use heat packs, ice packs, or electrical stimulation as part of the treatment plan. 
    • Monitoring and Recording Progress:
      PTAs observe patients during treatment, noting any changes in their condition and reporting back to the physical therapist. 
    • Educating Patients and Families:
