Contract Procurement Planner
Huntington, IN | $25-$30+/hr (based on experienced)
1st Shift | Temporary Assignment (expected to last up to 12 Weeks)
Pro Resources is seeking a Contract Procurement Planner for a leading manufacturing company in Huntington, IN. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity expected to last up to 12 weeks. We're looking for candidates with experience in procurement, supply chain, materials planning, inventory control, or ERP systems. What You'll Do
- Create, update, and maintain purchase orders using SAP or another ERP system
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, quantities, and shipment status
- Monitor inventory levels to help ensure uninterrupted material flow
- Track purchase orders, shortages, supplier performance, and delivery risks
- Maintain accurate planning data, including lead times, planning parameters, and material records
- Communicate with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners to support inbound shipments
- Prepare and distribute purchasing and inventory reports
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Quality, and Finance teams to resolve supply issues
- Support engineering changes, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, materials planning, inventory control, or a related manufacturing role
- Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

- 1st Shift
- $25-$30+/hour, depending on experience
- Temporary assignment expected to last up to 12 weeks
