Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
    • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
    • Experience with Epic charting system
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must be able to work night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
    • Ability to float within Zone 3 facilities, including St. Anthony Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, and OrthoColorado Hospital
    • Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive ICU patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and monitoring of critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform and interpret telemedicine monitoring; respond promptly to alarms and patient changes.
  • Administer titratable drips such as vasopressors, sedatives, paralytics, and other critical infusions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs utilizing Ventilators, Cpap, and BiPAP equipment.
