SUMMARY
The Contract Manager is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing all contracts—including owner agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and industrial service agreements. This role ensures that every project is executed under clear, enforceable, and commercially sound terms.

- Review, draft, and negotiate owner contracts, subcontracts, and industrial service agreements
- Identify and mitigate contractual, financial, and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, indemnity, and safety requirements
- Support project teams with change order strategy, claims documentation, and dispute resolution
- Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and standardized terms
- Coordinate with legal counsel on complex or high‑risk agreements
- Manage contract logs, amendments, and document control
- Support pre‑construction with RFP reviews, scope development, and bid clarifications
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industrial owner requirements
- Lead internal training on contract best practices and risk awareness

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in construction contracting, project management, or procurement
- Understanding of MEP systems, industrial construction, and subcontractor workflows
- Proven experience negotiating owner agreements and subcontract terms
- Ability to interpret plans, specs, scopes, and technical documents
- Strong knowledge of risk management, insurance, indemnity, and bonding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial owner‑direct contracts (manufacturing, energy, process facilities)
- Experience with large‑scale MEP subcontracting
- Certifications such as:
- CPCM (Certified Professional Contract Manager)
- CCCM (Certified Commercial Contract Manager)
- CCCA (Certified Construction Contract Administrator)
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, public procurement, or government contracting
- Experience supporting claims, disputes, or schedule‑impact documentation
