Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee

Certifications Requirements:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid CPR certification
• Optional: Initial or refresher training in correctional health

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of corrections experience as a registered nurse
• Prior experience working with inmates or in a correctional health setting highly preferred
• Health Services Administrator (HSA) experience highly preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a secure environment with appropriate background clearance pending confirmation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under security measures with a guard present during shifts
