Contract Field Technician - Tampa, FL
About the Role: This technician will help operate and manage gas migration control and recovery systems in the field. It's hands-on environmental work for someone mechanically inclined and interested in helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Responsibilities include: • Operating/maintaining gas collection systems and monitoring wells • Surface emissions testing and field sampling • Routine maintenance on blowers, flares, pumps, tanks, etc. • Calibrating and operating field monitoring equipment • Recording daily logs and communicating technical data to the team Qualifications: • No specific experience required, but mechanical or construction knowledge preferred • Comfortable using MS Office and reading construction plans/maps • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions If you know someone local to Tampa who could be a fit, please send them my way—this client is actively interviewing and ready to move quickly.
